A unique new-generation OCS in southwestern France
A new milestone has been reached in the extensive overhead catenary system renovation project undertaken by ENGIE Ineo, agent of a consortium with Colas Rail, since the end of 2016 on the Toulouse to Bayonne railway. A second section of the new generation OCS* installed since September 2017 has now been activated by SNCF Réseau. Deployed for the first time on a line of this importance, this new technology, capable of withstanding a much stronger electric current, meets the requirements of the French government’s objectives concerning the restoration and modernisation of the country’s existing transportation network.
EFFIA entrusts BIM* 3D hypervision of its assets to ENGIE Ineo
EFFIA ensures the reception of more than 22 million vehicles per year in 170 cities in France. Keen to modernize its fleet of facilities, the KEOLIS subsidiary has asked ENGIE Ineo to design and implement a custom-made, scalable Smart Building solution. The solution will include improved management of 200 car parks and real-time supervision with 3D BIM hypervision for enhanced quality of service.
FlixBus awards Icomera contract to deliver next-generation Wi-Fi and Infotainment to passengers
International transport operator FlixBus has awarded ENGIE group subsidiary Icomera the contract to provide an advanced onboard Internet connectivity platform to its fleet of intercity coaches. Installation of the initial 1,500 vehicles in Europe and the US will begin in spring 2018, with the roll-out due to be completed in 2019.
New Caledonia: new mobility for the Noumea Metropolitan area
To accomodate its urban development, the Syndicat Mixte des Transports Urbains du Grand Nouméa (SMTU – New Caledonia - Oceania) has created a mobility plan that harmonizes public transit and the upcoming Bus Rapid Transit in 2019.
To this end, SMTU has awarded the contract for the Intelligent Transportation Systems to ENGIE who will deploy the Navineo solution to the future Tanéo transit system which will consolidate the three existing transit systems (urban, coaches and school buses).
Marseille : a technology platform for Big Data management
Marseille, 29 November 2017 - Use the rich information provided by local data to more effectively ensure the public safety and tranquillity of citizens. This is the aim of the City of Marseille authorities, in entrusting the unique project based on a Big Data management platform to ENGIE Ineo through digital services specialist Ineo Digital. This innovative decision aid includes a functionality to enable citizen communication and will be ramped up to be fully operational by the end of 2020.
