The ENGIE Ineo company history and development

 With its roots in a century of experience from GTMH, Entreprise Industrielle, SEEE and Verger Delporte, ENGIE Ineo’s history is part of an approach of continuous progress working with institutional and economic players for implementing, operating and maintaining their energy efficiency and sustainable development projects.

1891: Founding of Grands Travaux de Marseille (GTM)

1895: Founding of Verger Delporte

1902: Founding of Herlicq

1921: Founding of Entreprise Industrielle (EI), a subsidiary of Energie Industrielle

1927: Founding of SEEE

1971: The Belgian company Fabricom acquires 99% of SEEE’s shareholding

1974: GTM transfers its electrical activities to a subsidiary, GTME

1980: Entreprise Industrielle takes over Verger Delporte’s activities

1994: Founding of GTMH (merger of GTME and Herlicq)

1998: GTMH acquires EI

2001: Founding of INEO (merger of GTMH/EI and SEEE)

2005: INEO becomes part of the “France Installation & Related Services” Business Unit within the SUEZ Energy Services Business Line

July 2008: INEO becomes part of the “France Installation & Related Services” Business Unit within the ENGIE Energy Services Business Line

September 2008: Acquisition of Drode (public lighting)

October 2008: Acquisition of the NMS (Networking, Mobility, Security) activity of the ARES Group

2009: 45% shareholding taken in the capital of SINOVIA, (multi-business and multi-technical surveillance for cities, facilities and buildings)

January 2010: Acquisition of VIDAL (electrical and climate-control installation)

January 2011: Acquisition of SINOVIA (100%) & acquisition of ACM Services (radio-mobility)

October 2011: Acquisition of iProcess (security software)

December 2011: Acquisition of TELCA 2000 (security infrastructures)

March 2012: Acquisition of Resplandy (public lighting)

June 2012: ENGIE Ineo becomes the new brand name for INEO and its subsidiaries

December 2012: Acquisition of Asphaléia

January 2013: Acquisition of CTTG (remote surveillance)

January 2016: Cofely Ineo becomes ENGIE Ineo
